FLIGHT-RELATED ACTIVITIES
Flight activities are the “heart” of an airline company. The main objectives of this important area are: flying passengers to every part of the world, providing top quality onboard services, coordinating functions regarding the crews, and constantly updating flight staff on international regulations. The three main areas of activity are: Flight Operations, Flight Services, Planning & Development.
Flight Operations (headed by Alfonso Maria Pacini) ensures that Alitalia operations are carried out with particular attention not only to flight regularity and punctuality but also to safety and quality standards.
Flight Services (headed by Alberto Scapellato) provides quality services for passengers on-board, based on performance levels achieved by coordinating and training flight attendants.
Planning & Development (headed by Massimo Iraci) deals with scheduling pilot and flight attendant rosters, operational resources at airports, as well as aircraft maintenance. The objective is total efficiency in order to be able to offer customers top quality. | | |
