SALES AND DISTRIBUTION
Alitalia is present in 63 countries on five continents. The main task of Sales & Distribution (headed by Paola Magnani) is to establish and define the business strategies for our Company. In addition, it aims to achieve top results through a number of sales channels: the website www.Alitalia.com. with its nineteen local sites and three million visitors a month, the single phone number (Numero Unico) which receives ten million calls a year, and the ticket offices.

One of the departments of Sales & Distribution is Operational Marketing (headed by Frances Vyvyen Ouseley) whose main aim is to achieve the targets set by the sales and marketing plan, by means of organising and developing several activities such as co-marketing, communications, loyalty programmes, direct marketing and web marketing.

Distribution (headed by Paola Magnani ad interim) ensures the presence of Alitalia products on the various distribution systems (ARCO, web, Global Distribution Systems, and others), also updating booking systems according to business needs and IATA directives.
