In line with the restructuring programme undertaken by Alitalia, managerial training has begun to focus more closely on the Company’s business aims. Amongst all our activities, several stand out as being more essential than others for achieving our objectives. First and foremost, improving the quality of service, maximizing commercial strategies, rationalizing the network and increasing profitability.
With this in mind, we have set up training programmes aimed at making managers more aware of the vital importance of our approach to service, pinpointing it as one of the main areas on which to build competitive strategies, and highlighting it as a feature which distinguishes us from other airlines.
Our approach to earning power and profitability has also been pinpointed as a determining factor in the Company’s restructuring and re-launching programme. For this reason, commercial and operational areas have been closely involved in devising and implementing a number of actions aimed at increasing our revenues.
